About
A 15-day specialized training program on ‘Innovations in Urban Planning and Housing’ for Officers of the Department for Housing and Urban Development, Kenya. The training program was organized in collaboration with the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme (ITEC), and administered by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The objective of the training program was to share experiences from India and especially the Gujarat state, related to innovative practices in Urban Planning and Housing. The pedagogy included classroom lectures, guided field visits and meetings with key stakeholders from Government of Gujarat, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and local NGOs.
